MEETING TUESDAY JULY 8, 2008 6:30 PM - Board 7:00 PM – Membership
At our July meeting we will be having a pizza party to kick off the Italian Festival so please plan on joining us. It’s time to think of the 2008 Festa please donate time at the ticket booth and if you know of any young ladies from the age of 17-21 have them enter the Queen contest. Congratulations to Rosie Gibson & Santina Punelli they won our door prizes.
I would like to give a special congratulation to Mary Quijano for going back to school at the age of 91 and getting her diploma she is a wonderful women and a great inspiration to us all. Lisa Vivone Cruchelow, President WANT TO BE A SIAA MEMBER? You can join our club if you are 18 years old and have Italian descent or married to a man of Italian descent. We meet the second Tuesday of the month, our meetings are fun, we have door prizes and social time after our meetings with treats. We have club outings with and without the SIA. We have family picnics; you get into the festival for free, Christmas dinner with the SIA, and much more. You are all welcome to come and check us out with no obligation. J
JULY PACK THE SIAA ROOM We will be having our annual pizza party to kick off the Italian Festival and I would like everyone to bring at least one person to our meeting to see about joining our fun group. See above about what it takes to be a member. We will have several door prizes and wine!
ITALIAN FESTIVAL TIME: The festival will be July 31st-August 3rd and we are in need of volunteers to work the ticket booth. If you can please call Lisa Cruchelow at 256-4445 ASAP as we have some spots full. We still need two more people to chair Sat. & Sun. for more information call Lisa. If you work 4 hours you will get ½ of your meal paid for at Biaggis Italian Restaurant on 8/23 at the appreciation lunch. (Note: the lunch is open to all even if you don’t work you just will pay for it yourselves) **WE NEED EVERYONE TO HELP OUT TO MAKE IT SUCCESSFUL**
SIAA SHIRTS: We still have some SIAA shirts left from last year if anyone would like to purchase any at the July meeting. It looks nice if we wear the SIAA red shirts when we work the ticket booth. The prices are: Polo-$12.00, T-Shirts-$8.00, Tanks Tops-$9.00, & Bags $6.00 all checks will be made out to Rose Russo.
